We had to tie down our tomato plants due to some growth and wicked weather this week.

Week 3

Today we started to use plant feed. I am experimenting with a few different methods to see which one works out best. In box 1, and the right half of box 4, we are using Miracle Grow every 2 weeks. Box 2 we are using a once every 3 month feed. In box 3, and the left half of box 4, we are using Mittleider weekly feed.

Week 2

This week we added a few more starts. Tomato, pepper, and squash. Everything else has already come up from seed.

We built trellis' to grow our tomatoes vertically. We used 2 7 ft metal posts, some wire, some left over boards, and some jute rope and twine. About 4 or 5 plants per trellis. There is one more trellis I am adding to the other end of the box. Total: 3 trellis' = 14 tomato plants.
